Cybertron Philippines is composed of 12 core members. Though these individuals come from different backgrounds and have different ways of living, they all share a commonality specifically through the Transformers and toy collecting in general. These individuals enjoy the hobby of collecting Transformers (and other toys) by making to sure to keep the fun factor of collecting. Working with such a perspective, they have created, organized and continue to put their creative energies into Cybertron Philippines.

At present, Cybertron Philippines is primarily web-based with its message boards being the main base of operations of the group. The 12 core members serve as administrators of the boards holding different positions and functions. This does not necessarily translate a concrete heirarchy within the group; rather, it serves as a guide on who does what in the different areas in the Transformers Universe.

ADMINISTRATORS

The name Convoy is taken from the Japanese name of Optimus Prime, Convoy. It is a term long associated with a number of heroic Autobot leaders throughout the Transformers’ 20-year history. As such, it was only fitting to choose the name CONVOY COUNCIL to refer to Cybertron Philippines’ head administrators.

A project manager from an international IT consultancy firm. He’s the liaison to the group’s many partners. The guy with a big heart, and a even bigger TF collection to boot. We miss his avatar that looks like a marshmallow.
PROTOFORM-S
A product manager from one of the top pharmaceutical company in the Philippines. He’s the acknowledged marketing guy of CybPH. Obviously his favorite toy to collect is Great Mazinger, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. He’s also the group’s statue collector and was once known as “Mr. Monday Night” from another forum. We still don’t get it.
THUNDERBREAK
A businessman based in the Southern Philippines. The founding member of the group, he’s caught the Prime and Megatron bug…collecting them, that is. And still catching, mind you. Doubles or triples, might I add.
WILDSTAR

GLOBAL ADMINISTRATORS

These individuals, though not engaged in a war, function to maintain civility and order in all sections of the message boards. Additionally, these individuals also contribute facts, news, ideas and opinions in the different parts of the boards, depending on their respective areas of expertise. The Omega Sentinels, whose name is taken from the gigantic Guardian robots of Cybertron, serve as the keepers of the peace and act as the ultimate line of defense during the civil wars that raged across the planet. Task Force Commanders on the other hand, is a term used in Super Sentai, which literally means Task Force in japanese.

An IT software engineer from one of the largest international consultancy firms. He is the resident toy reviewer and customizer of the group. He is also the group’s logistics officer. Reading his article “The Prime of My Life” would make your heart sink.
ROHML
An IT Guy by profession, he is also businessman based in QC. He is the group’s web administrator, and maintains his own Weblog. Claims to be a Sentai collector but he’s got more Marvel, DC and Street Fighter action figures.
BLACKBISON
An english instructor from one of the exclusive schools here in Metro Manila. His tricks for the trade, Adobe Photoshop and a good ounce of writing skills. Sometimes we wonder how so much knowledge and opinion can come from him. We mean that in a good way, BTW. You can tell that he loves Minicons… Really, he does.
LASTMAXIMAL
An immigrant based in Canada, he is a lover of Filipino history, culture and language; and enjoys archiving quotes taken from tagalized Transformer cartoons. He collects Sideswipe figures, but he’s also into Primes and Megatrons. This is becoming a trend. Oh yeah, he’s a hog butcher, too. Seriously.
ONDOHER PRIME
A systems administrator from an international financial institution. Obviously, he loves David Bowie’s music, and he is the group’s walking comic book encyclopedia. He’s also on the hunt for rare CDs, and the group’s Star Wars Junkie.
ZIGGY STARDUST
An account officer from one of the local financial institutions. Has an extensive Zoids, Gundam and SOC collection. The typical tough guy with the heart to help his friends – with toy purchases, that is. Has a weakness for the movie Lake House, and favorite wrestler to date is the guy on the right of this description.
DC 723
We call him flash boy. Hmm… Maybe the group’s “flash animator” and grapics guy would be a better choice of words. He loves super deformed (SD) figures and is the group’s resident Kamen Rider and Ultraman guy.
GUNCEASAR
An entrepreneur engaged in the construction business. He’s the best toy repair guy any collector would have in this side of town. Seeing him first hand dripping his blood on one of his custom sculptures was indeed a sight to see. But wait til you see his movie monsters collection.
INHUMANOIDSTMD
A freelance comic book illustrator. We’re waiting for him to come up with the group’s very own fanfic. Waiting…The acknowledged sc-fi movie junkie of the group. He also loves cartoons. His TF beasties collection will make you drool.

  2. Christian Robert Esberto — May 14, 2009 @ 12:59 am

I am Christian Robert Esberto, an incoming 4th Year Law Student of the San Sebastian College-Recoletos de Manila School of Law, and the Executive Vice Chairman of the 2009 CENTRALIZED BAR OPERATIONS (BAROPS). Our primary goal is to help our more or less 800 barristers (bar reviewees of the Recoletos Law Center) in their bar preparations as well as on the day of the bar exams. With this in mind, we are raising funds to be able to give full service to our barristers.

This June 25th, we will be having a block screening of the TRANSFORMERS 2, to be held at SM manila. The San Sebastian Law School is totally in support of this project and students, bar reviewees, and lawyers alike are all invited to watch the movie. We will also be having a pre-show on the same day to be able to help our sponsors in their advertisements and also, to catch more attention from the public. We are actually looking for sponsors who can donate prizes for our raffle draw to be held on the said pre-show.

It is needless to say that the Transformers movie catches all attention to the point that people buy toys and other stuff related to the movie. With an estimated 1000 participants for the event and prospective members/clients of your organization, it will be very beneficial for you to be part of our project. Depending on your choice of advertisement package (or our agreement), we will assure you that your organization gets a quality advertisement with our pre-show, posters, tarpaulins, and souvenir program for the said event.

Below is the link to the copy of our solicitation letter. I really hope you will give time to read and eventually have a successful partnership with the Centralized Bar Operations.
