TRANSFORMERS TITANIUM SERIES Die-Cast DECEPTICON BRAWL

If there’s one thing DECEPTICON BRAWL loves, it’s a nice, big explosion. The bigger the better. He doesn’t really care if he’s the cause of the explosion, but it does make for a more pleasing experience in general if it’s his shells at ground zero. His favorite part is the visible pressure wave of compressed, heated air rushing away from a blast, pushing debris ahead of it and pulling dust and smoke after. He also really likes the part where the tiny bits of whatever it was just blew up come raining down out of the sky, smoking and twisted. Oh yeah. That part rules.
Poseable, die-cast metal DECEPTICON figure is an awesome addition to your collection. Figure comes with display stand.

TRANSFORMERS TITANIUM SERIES Die-Cast AUTOBOT JAZZ Figure

If a thing can’t be done in style, then it isn’t worth doing, thinks AUTOBOT JAZZ. That’s why he’s so happy to be on Earth. Humans may be small and soft, but they make up in incredible design what they lack in built-in weapons systems. Take his alternate mode, for example. He’s been discovering new features every day since he scanned it! And look at these lines! You know, once MEGATRON and the DECEPTICONS are defeated, AUTOBOT JAZZ might just consider retiring here.

INFO/PHOTO THANKS AND CREDITS: H

GENERATION ONE
the original Ironhide release as part of the 1984 corps of Autobots.
Image

GENERATION TWO: POWERMASTER
Ironhide’s first figure since G1 was a UK-only figure, as part of a small “Powermaster” group [which included Staxx and Bulletbike], which had weapons that could unlock features on the toy if inserted into particular slots.
Image

GENERATION TWO: GOBOT
One of many early-era Autobots and Decepticons turned into small Hot Wheels-ish cars, Ironhide continued his trend of new still-bulky vehicle modes by turning into a silver pickup truck. Image

BEAST WARS: MAGNABOSS
Never explicitly stated to the reincarnation of the G1 character, Ironhide’s Beast Wars namesake was nevertheless a tough and durable sort — this time one who turned into an elephant, as part of the tri-Maximal gestalt Magnaboss. Image

REISSUE IRONHIDE
A handfl of G1 molds saw re-release in Japan as part of Takara’s 1999/2000 15th-anniversary blitz — sadly, Ironhide was one of those who only saw limited release.

ROBOTS IN DISGUISE: SPYCHANGER
the Ironhide name returned to pickup form, in this Americanized version of the cow-colored Spychanger Ox.
Image

ROBOTS IN DISGUISE: SPYCHANGER [CLEAR]
The initial Spychanger recolor frenzy hit with a wave of Spychangers in clear versions of the original colors, such as Ironhide’s.
Image

ROBOTS IN DISGUISE: SPYCHANGER [CLEAR 2]
The final wave of RiD Spychangers saw different, ’supercharged’ clear-color schemes for the Spychangers — with Ironhide’s becoming clear blue.
Image

ARMADA: MINICON
Packed in with the recolored and remolded Transmetal Terrorsaur, the Ironhide name was assigned to a Minicon for the first and only time so far. Image

MICRON LEGEND: DECEPTICON
A debatable inclusion, the Micron Legend version of Armada Demolishor was nevertheless called Ironhide for some reason — possibly due to the tough, battle-ready altmode and fierce loyalty to the leader he served. Image

SUPERLINK: DECEPTICON
As Ironhide returned to the forefront in Superlink before becoming Iron Tread [Energon dump truck Demolishor], so did the toy. Image

ENERGON
Old name, new face, new character. ‘Ironhide’ became attached to the youthful new Autobot recruit, named Roadbuster in Japan, most likely due to his all-terrain vehicle mode and smashmouth fighting style. Image

ENERGON ENERGON
‘Roadbuster Wild’ in Japan, this color scheme represented a powered-up Energon Ironhide. Image

UNIVERSE: SPYCHANGER “TRAILBREAKER”
One of the casualties of the legal issues with name-reuse, TFU Spychanger Ironhide may have originally been intended to be called Trailbreaker, since he bears that Autobot’s familiar color scheme. Image

TIMELINES
the Descent Into Evil BC2005 convention-exclusive toy set included a remolded Energon Towline, who became Ironhide and Ratchet in a perfectly-fitting [but prohibitively expensive] way. Image
