Speaking of Megatrons, we’ve got the updated pics of the Masterpiece Megatron right here thanks to The 2005 Boards

I am not really sure what’s happening with the “Transformer” movie other than my talented friend Peter Cullen has been cast. Presently, I have not been offered any roles. They are doing a new series based on our old shows which neither Peter nor I were cast. I think Corey Burton is playing the new Megatron. He is a wonderful voice talent and a great guy, so it’s nice to be replaced by folks you like at any rate.
Looks like this is for real, y’all. There goes our hopes of [listening to] him and Cullen fighting it out on the movie. Unless this is just a ploy to keep everyone misdirected.

Thanks to TFW2005, pictures of the Real Gear Transformers in packaging!

These are additional collectibles that Transformers fans in the Philippines can expect just prior to the upcoming movie.
Thanks to lastmaximal for the pictures and review of the Titanium 6″ Cheetor and The Fallen!
These figures are already available for Filipino Transfans at Patrick’s toyshop and hopefully, in local malls as well.
Here is his review and you can join in the discussions HERE
BM Cheetor and The Fallen are out locally! They arrived earlier this evening at Patrick’s Toy Shop [Ptoys!]
Thanks to Wildstar for generously lending us his Titaniums for a quick photo-review.
anyway, the quickie reviews:
Cheetor’s pretty solid, a nice heft and what feels like reasonable weight distribution. As you can see below, the face sculpt is awesome. The only awkward thing is how moving his robot forearms [just up and down elbows, mind] has to move his folded-back beast forelegs. it’s like he has long elbow spur things.
Transformation is simple, but effective… flip cat head and neck up [tucking in robot head], turn arms into arms and legs into legs, spin waist around. He has a tail in both modes.
Sadly, the swords are soft plastic and were somewhat warped into a sideways bend by the packaging. They’re also somewhat annoying to put on the hip-pegs for beast mode.
I’ve included some comparisons with TFU Night Slash Cheetor and Titanium Jetfire.

The flaming billboards actually come in a separate bubble and can be attached/detached to the back, but do not need to come off for transformation. They do look like they will pop off and not snap off if the figure is accidentally dropped. I do not, of course, plan to test this. icon-fire.gif
Transformation, incidentally, is also simple but effective — perhaps not as much as Cheetor given the ad-hoc altmode on this one [Don made it look good though]. turn waist, fold legs, fold billboards out into tread housings and wrap around legs, fold arms round back and make them cannon things.
I like how his ‘fists’ swivel so you can point the would-be fist holes vertically instead of horizontally as he has them packaged.

The deluxes on the other hand are cool, especially Jazz and Brawl. And finally, cllose ups of the Cyberstomping figures and the Optimus Prime Rig Blaster
A new month… A new TF character to be featured:

Now that’s what I call a dead giveaway.
Was at Thunderbreak’s house last night with Protoform-S (ooh, another fan screening? LOL) who needed help combining his newly bought TF Classics Devastator. That’s where we got this idea of comparing thhe Classics Devie with the Energon Constructicon Maximus (Conmax).

We were wondering how this exclusive compares to the Energon (Conmax). Here are some pics:

We have also mixed and matched the limbs to give Classics Devie the G1 look.
These figures were located at Babes Toyshop in Virra Mall, and Toykingdom Express, SM North EDSA. We are expecting these to be out in other malls in the coming days. The toy stores have confirmed that they have already placed their orders locally.
Both wave 1 and wave 2 deluxes are available at Php 699.75 SRP (roughly USD 14.30). Case assortment is as follows:
2 x bumblebee
2 x mirage
1 x grimlock
1 x starscream
1 x astrotrain
1 x rodimus
We’re still hoping the Voyagers, minicons, and the wave 3 Deluxes to show up on the pegs as well.
Update:
TFW2005 posted this in their boards. Click here too see it. W00t!
