Hi fellow CybPh’ers.

Cybertron Philippines turns 5 today. The spark within us still glows strong! A lot new members, a lot new friends, and a lot of events happened. Year 4 was marked with the historic launch of The Transformers movie which placed the franchise back to glory. The movie toys were sold out everywhere and it became an instant global phenomenon…

This year wont be any different. The momentum created by the fantastic live-action movie will continue to recruit new spark back to Cybertron. Transformers Animated, a 26 episode series has been shown in the US and now we are waiting for the toy release. Transformers Encore is churning out exemplary characters from the G1 days. Transformers Henkei, the Japanese counterpart of TF Classics 1.0, has also started to be released in Japan. TF Classics 2.0 is just around the corner and the recent announcement of resurrecting the Binaltech line clearly shows that TakTomy/Hasbro is supporting the Transformers franchise…

A lot of non-tf related events will also be done by CybPH this year. For starters, the upcoming Iron Man toy launch would mark our continued partnership with Solar-UIP, the motion picture distributor in the Philippines. We are also waiting for the release of HML4 figures. These two we can already inform you. However, there are still other events planned within the year which are still on the drawing board…

To one and all, let your friends know that Cybertron Philippines is here to stay and will continue to bring you high caliber events. We will only get bigger and better.

Trans-scanning Optimus Prime is out here in Tokyo

The Battle Damaged Optimus Prime will make its Philippine debut tomorrow in most leading toy stores. This is the same variant that was included in the 3pack exclusive released before. There will also be Leader Class and Voyager Class restocks.

Transformers Animated series is the latest show and line that is being churned out by Hasbro. It features characters drawn in such a way to make it more appealing to a more younger audience. This is due to their appearance being more cartoonish and has drawn the ire of a lot of fans including myself.

First and foremost this figure is a PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLE owned by Wildstar. This line hasn’t been released yet. So don’t bother me or him asking where he got it. This is a chance to see in detail this figure up close only here in Cybertron Philippines. When I got this figure, it didn’t have any card and the instruction sheet was photocopied.
